Grade 5/6 Numeracy

Dear Parents and Guardians;

In the Numeracy grade the grade 5 students are looking into 2D and 3D shapes. They will be engaged in a number of various activities. Students will need to classify and compare 3D objects to the shapes properties and connect 3D objects with nest and other 2D representations. The grade 6 students are focusing on Volume and Capacity. Students will need to identify and find the volume of prisms.

Thank you to all that come out to the end of year concert. The students have tried very hard to put on a great show and they sure did. It takes a lot of time and effort to put a dance/play/song together and I would like to congratulate my students for their effort.
